Will I survive cruising?

If I am a motion sick person and take Dramamine every time I am on plane/bus tour or even cab to airport. I want to take a cruise deal but afraid (not because I cannot swim) but because I don't want to puke or spend days in cabin. Of course there are med, patches etc, but I want to enjoy it in full including alcohol beverages.
