Does Dramamine help when drinking?

I'm turning 21 tomorrow and I suffer from motion sickness. I don't normal drink too much because when i do drink and the room starts to feel like it's spinning and I get sick. not because I'm plastered, but it feels like it does when i get motion sickness. can I mix Dramamine with alcohol, and does anyone think it'll help? I wold like to be able to get drunk once without getting sick before hand.
