First time roller coaster riding questions?

Motion sickness from cars is because you're in a tight little spot, roller coasters have no roof, so you'll be fine. When it comes to large drops, hold your breath. When I first started I hated drops, so I tried holding my breath and I didn't feel a thing. They're scary, but so much fun. Good luck :)
